New International Student Orientation

Our New International Student Orientation is tailored to an international perspective.  Whether you are a visa student, or hold U.S. citizenship or permanent residency and have lived abroad, we strongly encourage you to participate!  During this orientation you will meet students from throughout The Claremont Colleges amidst trips, meals, and organized sessions.  Sessions with faculty and returning students will help familiarize you with academic and social life in Claremont; sessions with I-Place staff will help address issues pertaining to international students and U.S. students who have lived overseas. One current student says: "I-Place’s New International Student Orientation Program is not an event to miss. During International Student Orientation, I made friends with people from all over the world coming to all of the colleges in Claremont.  We had fun learning about each other and exploring California together before beginning our education at The Claremont Colleges.”

Your orientation schedule will vary depending on which of the Claremont Colleges you will be joining.
