Programs for ALL
Thursday Lunch Programs on Global Issues
Each Thursday, more than a hundred students, college faculty and staff, and community friends meet for a lunch featuring international cuisine and a program planned by international students. These "Lunch and Conversations" offer unique opportunities to meet people from all over the world and to better understand our diverse cultures, values, and economic and political systems. Annual Cultural Events
Fall Banquet. Students from around the world produce a global feast of food and entertainment for 400 guests. The Banquet takes place each Fall in November.
Spring International Festival. A day-long celebration of international food, music, dance and cultures. The 2006 Festival fed, quenched and entertained over 5,000 visitors to Claremont on April 8, 2006!
United Nations Day Celebration. An event honoring the anniversary of the founding of the United Nations on October 24. I-Place honors UN Day with a special Thursday Lunch & Conversation.
