International Parent and Family Orientation

International Place of The Claremont Colleges recognizes that parents and family are an important part of the international student experience.

For this reason, we offer an information session for international parents and family members accompanying our incoming international students and scholars to NISSO.

International Parent and Family Orientation

These informative sessions are designed specifically for the parents and family of international students. They are an excellent opportunity to meet other parents and family of international students at The Claremont Colleges.

During the session, guests will:

  • Learn about international student support services and resources at The Claremont Colleges
  • Learn about immigration and employment issues related to students’ immigration status
  • Address issues directly related to being the parent of an international student
  • Have an opportunity to ask questions of representatives of your student’s college

Please note: these events are for parents and family of students, only. During the events described below new students will be engaged in the New International Student and Scholar Orientation (NISSO).

International Parent & Family Orientation Dates

Please note that there will not be an International Parent & Family Orientation for Spring 2018. Please check back in May for the Fall 2018 dates.
